HS – Orchestra rehearsed music on Tuesday – catching up from snow days last week. On Thursday, we will be in the music lab for class working on our Story Books and compositions to go along with the stories. No rehearsals at the HS this week.
MS – Orchestra worked on E Major Scale – testing on Adagio Cantabile on Wed and Fri – moved from last week. Students should rehearse and work on rhythms in Pirates and Final Countdown. Viola, Cello and Bass rehearsal on Thursday after school.
Intermediate – Beginners working on 4th fingers on G and D strings, G string notes, duets, dotted half notes, and slurs. Intermediate students working on reviewing some concepts, new rhythms using sixteenth notes and syncopation, also working on extended fingers. Repretoire songs for most students. Advanced – working on shifting assignments, individual songs, and advanced orchestra music.
