Intermediate School:
- Beginning Strings – working on songs on the D string, bowing exercises, and reading notes on the A string – there will be an assessment next week on your learning and posture
- Intermediate – working on finishing up review of notes and key signatures and we will begin learning some new rhythms
- Advanced – working in keys of flats, shifting, and repertoire
- Orchestra Begins on Tuesday after school from 3:340-4:30 p.m.
Middle School:
- Working on dynamics in music this week
- Time Signatures
- Fiddle Like a Dickens Music and Skater’s Waltz, Sight read My Favorite Things
- Test on the A scale on Friday
- String Ensemble Rehearsal on Thursday after school
High School:
- Working on putting October Concert together – working on notes and rhythms
- review dynamics and articulations in King of the Orient
- Working in High Tech Books this week – please have them for class
- No string quartet this week
