To all students:
It has been an outstanding year for the elementary program. All of you were wonderful students to work with and you learned so much this year. For the summer if you do a few things to keep the concepts fresh in your mind, you will be in better shape for the coming school year:
- review your notes in your books
- review all the concepts in the yellow boxes in your books
- learn the new sections you were assigned to work on over the summer
- go to a website called Music Tech Teacher and choose quizzes, worksheets section – lots of fun games and concepts to go over
- find some fun music online – there are a lot of free sites out there and play some new music
- get a book of music from your favorite movie and learn the music – this makes it fun
Have a great summer and I look forward to seeing everyone in the fall!
