Elementary: Working in designated Essential Elements Books – beginners finishing out Book 1 for reviewing all strings, working on slurs and articulations with the use of the bow
Advanced students 0 working in book 2 on rhythmic patterns – syncopated rhythms, dotted rhythms, etc. Also we will be getting ready for the in school assemblies coming up next week to showcase the instrumental program.
Middle School: Working to prepare for the Competition Trip on Friday, May 15th, working on Castle Lore and Legend of Duffy’s Cut. Make sure you practice and keep reviewing the songs, there are a lot of trips happening this week, so you might not be in orchestra until the day of the trip.
High School: Collecting all Spring Music – working with small group to prepare for graduation. We will be doing sight reading in class to work on different reading skills and techniques of playing your instruments.
