Elementary:
- working on concert music – Beginners Celtic Dance, Cabbage Countdown, and Fiddles on Fire
- Advanced kids same as beginners plus March of the Mathemagician and Miniature Symphony
- Those not performing in concert – individual assignments in book
- Rehearsal Reminders April 14th and April 20th at the MS band room from 6-7:30 p.m.
Middle School:
- Working on concert music – Touch of Ireland, Duffy’s Cut, Arabian Dream, and Castle Lore – all notes should be learned by now and working on rhythms, bowings, and dynamics
- Fixing in class harmonization, rhythm problems, and performance details
- Lessons – if you have not been showing up for lessons – please make sure to check in with Mrs. Sabol over the next couple of weeks
- Rehearsal on Tuesday – April 21st for Chamber and Select Strings 3-4 pm
- Rehearsal on Thursday – April 30th for all orchestra students
High School:
- Working on polishing music with intonation, bowings, and dynamics
- 2nd violins – please fix your intonation problems
- working on music with guitarist over the next two weeks
- Rehearsal for chamber and select on Tuesday April 14th – 3-4 p.m.
- Trip Meeting for New York students – April 27th at 6:30 p.m.
- Rehearsal for full orchestra on April 28th from 3-4 p.m.
