Develop a Sound Story (Individual Project)

Step 1: Develop a story about a dream, an event in your life, something that interests you, etc.
Step 2: Write the narration for the story - Make sure it is typed up
Step 3: Taking the narration, develop sound effects to illustrate and help paint a picture of the stories events and happenings (for example - opening a door (squeaking sound on the instrument), running down a hall (lots of runs on the instrument)). You may write up directions for this, write little music selections in Finale and paste them all onto a page, or improvise with some cues.
Step 4: Put the narration and sound effects together and rehearse your sound story
Step 5: Present to the class / audience -Present to the class in person - gather help from classmates if needed for the presentation.
Step 5: Record your sound story using Sonar and publish to a CD
