Beginners

1. Reviewing the A String notes
2. Working on Songs using both A & D String
3. Working on bowing techniques with the rosin, reading down and up bows, using the bow to rhythms, using a tube to help with bowing, and playing on open strings
4. Enrichment, print off the song Bile ‘em Cabbage Down and have some fun with note reading on the D string

Intermediate and Advanced

1. Students are working on individual assignments in books
2. Intermediate – page 25 and 26 (reviewing G string, bowings, counting in 3)
3. advanced – working on complex rhythms, shifting, and individual songs
4. Work on concert songs – Grasshopper Ball and Cabbage Countdown

All groups – new permission forms coming home this week for the next rehearsal for orchestra, please return all forms by Friday, October 20th…for rehearsal on October 25th.
