- Advanced – working on solo pieces, shifting

- All students should have the Essential Technique book for strings – Book 3 of Essential Elements 2000 Series for their instrument for lessons.
If you are able to help out or have a space in your house to put a few students to sleep (couch, blow up matress, extra bed), then please check out the documents and take action to help with the needs of this festival!

NAIS STRING LESSON CALENDAR JANURAY 2012
Students interested in signing up for Orchestra for the Spring should fill out the form and return to Mrs. Sabol by the first week of January. Forms say to return by Dec. 21st, but if they are returned by the first week of January, they can still join.
NAIS Spring Orchestra Sign Up Form
Beginners – Students will be working on reviewking skills from the beginning part of the year and testing on these skills. They will also learn their two remaining strings.
Intermediate – Students will continue to learn new rhythms and key signatures, begin some solo work.
Advanced – Students will work on shifting and tuning of instruments, along with songs.
Ms – Students will be working on New Spring Music, working with the IPods to work on tuning instruments and counting skills, working on shifting
HS – Completing compositions, record music, and put projects together in Movie Maker. Students will begin working on Spring music and also continue to work on techniques skills.
